When you think of Burbank, CA, what's the first thing that you think of? Do you think of movie studios? Seeing famous people? Or do you just think of some random city in California? Before I moved to Los Angeles, I thought that Burbank was just another city close by. That was until I drove through Burbank, CA. When I would watch movies or TV shows, that was when I started noticing Burbank. It's kind of like when you're car shopping and you find a car that you like. One that you hadn't noticed before, and then when you're finished looking you notice that same vehicle everywhere that you go. I've seen the movie 'The Hangover" so many different times and not once did I notice them mention Burbank or even when I drove by Warner Brothers, Nickelodeon, and Disney Studios, I had no idea that they were located in Burbank. It's so crazy, and such a small world. I also never would of thought that I would be near Burbank 5 times a week. Some of my favorite things to do are located in Burbank.

I'm a HUGE Halloween fan. It's my favorite holiday. In Burbank, you'll find a place called Halloweentown. I thought that was just the name of a Disney Channel movie. Boy, was I wrong. If you go to Burbank, you HAVE to check it out! Even if you're not a huge Halloween fan. They're open all year round. That's right! ALL YEAR! They also have a costume shop. One that's for adults, and one for kids. An entire building filled with Halloween costumes. Such a dream!

I have this theory that Stephen King got all of his inspiration for his scary and spooky horror novels from a haunted cafe. Coral Cafe that's located in Burbank, CA is supposed to be a haunted cafe that's open 24 hours a day. It's also the diner that Stephen King used to go to late at night to write his novels. What better way to write a scary novel than at a haunted cafe? Sounds like a pretty good theory..... Am I right?

On my free time I like to watch make up tutorials on YouTube.. even if I’m not very good at a Smokey eye the makeup tutorials are some what relaxing to watch and in a majority of makeup videos that I’ve watched so many beauty gurus talk about a makeup store called Morphe. It’s a small company that’s been expanding to new locations and it’s affordable makeup. When I’d hear affordable makeup I usually think of bad quality makeup that someone would make in their basement, but this makeup is amazing! And like o said it’s affordable. Well the original store is located in Burbank and if you’re a makeup lover and are in the mood to see the OG Morphe store you have to check it out! Plus it’s right down the street from Porto’s bakery and it’s across the steeet from romancing the bean so you can get your coffee and dessert fix in and then go look for some dope makeup!

If you couldn’t tell already I’m a sucker for fun cute interior. So one of my favorite things to do is walk around IKEA! I’m sure you’ve heard of it before.. it’s that Swedish furniture store that is affordable and that you build yourself. A do it yourself furniture store if you will! Well.... Burbank has an IKEA and it’s the largest ikea in the United States! As many times as I’ve walked around Iles I don’t think I’ve made it al the way through. And I’ve walked around ikea a lot! It’s so large that you can see it while hiking, driving, and probably from some peoples houses! It’s one of those places that you have to check out. I’m a little obsessed with ikea!

I’m always trying to find something to do in different areas and sometimes I can never figure out what I want to do. So one day I decided to just take a walk down Magnolia Blvd in Burbank. I didn’t realize that there were so many different vintage stores. A lot of the stores, since they’re family owned have pet dogs in them so if you’re a dog lover you have to check out the shops!

I read about this place on Pinterest where the movie studios will bring clothing pieces from tv shows and movies that the actors and actresses wore in certain films to this shop called ‘Its a Wrap.’ It’s so cool inside. You’re able to buy clothes that some of your favorite characters wore! There’s so many different items that you have to check it out if you’re in the area!

I’m a HUGE movie fan. So on my days off some of my favorite things to do are to go to different locations that certain movies or TV shows were filmed. I like being able to say I went there or to feel like i’m in the same spot that my favorite movie character was standing in. The movie Back to The Future has a scene filmed at the Burger King in Burbank, so of course I had to go to the same spot and take advantage of the opportunity!

Another one of my favorite shows is ‘Shameless’ there’s a scene in Season 8 where one of the characters gets in a fight in a drugstore parking lot. What’s crazy about this location is I’m here a lot and didn’t even realize that one of my all time favorite TV shows was filmed in the exact spot. So neat!

If you have a movie or a TV show location that you’ve been to, please tell me in the comments! I’m always on the hunt for a new movie set to take a visit to!
